HANetf has launched the Trading Central Quant Europe 50 UCITS ETF, an exchange-traded fund tracking 50 European companies selected using Trading Central's proprietary "quantamental" rating system.

The fund tracks the Solactive TC Quant EU 50 index, which scores stocks across five factors – growth, value, income, quality and momentum – to pick the top 50 names. Holdings are equally weighted, capped at 17 stocks per sector, and rebalanced monthly. The ETF has a total expense ratio of 1% and uses physical replication.

Hector McNeil, co-founder and co-chief executive of HANetf, said Trading Central's rating system was "supported by more than 27 years of research". The vehicle has listed on Xetra, Borsa Italiana and Euronext Paris, with a London Stock Exchange listing to follow.

European ETF flows had risen more than 15% over the past quarter, said McNeil.

Alain Pellier, chief executive of Trading Central SA, said the launch is a natural extension of the firm's research business into "accessible investment products that investors can directly incorporate into their portfolios".
