Emails

This document outlines the specifications and guidelines for advertisements included in emails sent by Trustnet.

By following these guidelines emails will be more likely to reach inboxes and be opened by the target audience, therefore maximising the impact of your clients’ campaigns.

We reserve the right to alter these guidelines at any time.

Sponsorship of Daily Newsletters

The dimensions of the sponsorship ad are 300x250px (MPU).

This can be provided either as a static ad tag or an image file and click-through URL.

  • Ad tag requirements
    • The tag cannot contain flash, html5, javascript or be expandable.
    • Tracking pixels are not accepted in our emails.
  • Image file requirements
    •  JPEG or PNG format
    • File size approx 50-100 kb

There is no approval process for newsletters – assets will be served as sent.

Solus Emails

Solus emails either be built from html or individual assets. In the latter case, we will default to our solus template but can make any changes where necessary.

There is no minimum or maximum requirement for content. However, we suggest that individual assets should include at least:

  • 1 image file (JPEG or PNG format)
  • Subject/headline approx. 10 words
  • Text approx. 100 words
  • CTA with click-through URL

And at most, approx. the content shown on our template.

Demos will be sent with 24 hours of asset receipt or any requested changes.

Editorial Email Sponsorship

  • Logo - approx. 150x50px
  • Article title (approx. 10 words), abstract (approx. 50 words) and CTA (approx. 5 words)
  • Static MPU ad (either tag or image file)
  • Clickthrough(s) for above

Demos will be sent with 24 hours of asset receipt or any requested changes.

The deadline for submitting assets for all email types is 3 working day before the email is scheduled.  Any demos must be approved by lunchtime the working day before the email is scheduled.

The deadline for rescheduling an email is 5 working days before the email is scheduled. If we are informed before this time, we will reschedule but cannot guarantee that preferred dates will be available. After this time (or if assets are not supplied and approved in time), we cannot guarantee the email will be rescheduled.

Failure to meet these deadlines or agree new dates where applicable will still be charged.
